I just watched Sucker Punch and OMG on the action. Big thumbs up! And the steampunk elements were excellent and very engaging. Emily Browing has the most deliciously sweet, deceptively innocent face. When she escapes into her inner world and KICK ASS it’s startling, exciting and had me sold. Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of the cast are more than believable as fellow inmates and teammates. The costume are sexy, the graphics made me grab my chair and hold on. For the fight scenes alone, I plan on purchasing the DVD.

I just met one of my favorite authors, CL Wilson, creator of The Tairen Soul series. My heart raced as she shook my hand. I fell in love with her world in 2007 and avidly awaited each release. A great writer, a great speaker, a really nice lady. And, she’s the first person that succinctly explained world building. Now I feel like I’m heading in the right direction. Thanks CL

If you could build you own world, what would you include/exclude. Think what, not who. Make it interesting, outlandish, over the top, under the ground. Would you build it, then destroy it brick by brick or make it a utopian paradise. Tell me, What Would You Do?

I’m thinking of a story, an erotice short story. I had this dream a while ago and now I’ve decided to write a story about it…but I need your help.
So, I’m asking you to put yourself in a characters shoes, my characters shoes and tell me-if it was you-WHY WOULD YOU:

I finished editing the manuscript, changed the name to Eternity and sent a query, synopsis and a partial to an agent. I prayed over it and all I can do is hope for the best. It’s in the hands of the writing Gods now and the forces that be!

It’s a new year and I’m dedicated to my writing career but I don’t have enough time in the day to do everything I need to do for my family, myself, my writing, etc. How can I balance everything and keep my sanity? I have no idea.
But on a positive note, I am nearing the end of my upteenth editing of The Eternal Dance and I’m getting closer to changing the name.

I’m thinking about changing the name of my manuscript. How about ‘Claimed’. I think I like it better than The Eternal Dance. I have some other ideas. I need to keep a list. I will keep everyone posted.

I got a Kindle from Santa! I’m so excited. I’ve already downloaded a bunch of free books, classics, and I bought Tom Clancy’s latest at half the price I would have paid for the hard cover. It will take a moment to get use it but I very, very happy with my Santa 😉
